On May 6th, the St Matthew folks celebrated Cinqo de Mayo a day late with a Mexican Fiesta and Silent Auction as the major fund raiser for the trip. The food was prepared with the help of members of the Red Cross who work specifically with members of the Latino community in the Greenvile area. Two members of their group preformed a few authentic Mexican dances for us. The food was wonderful, the kids enjoyed pinatas, bidding was fast and furious at the auction, and everyone had a great time. Thank you to everyone who helped make the Fiesta a huge success! Ole!!
